WAU A PERUGIA -- UK to LA - an art exhibition of only ONE HOUR by Stephanie Seymour and Beverley Baron

                                                   WHEW!!! THAT WAS FAST!!!

Yesterday at the beautiful Loggia dei Lanari in Perugia two artist friends, Stephanie and Beverley put on a performance/artshow for only 60 minutes. It featured showing their art and talking about their work and philosophies, getting the public to partecipate in putting the paintings around there necks with a cord and walk up and down the corridor showing their work, AND beginning the whole event with suitcases, talking loudly in English, as if they had just gotten off flights from England and the USA.

It was great fun, even for the artists.

The exhibition began at 4pm and ended at 5pm. It all was organized by invitation by the Comune of Perugia who invited Stephanie who thus invited Beverley. The event with over 100 partecipants was WAU (Weekend Arti Unite) with events all over the town of Perugia.

Here are some of the photos:

                                                                   Our volunteers in line.

Our volunteers holding paintings around their necks on cords. There were no nails
to be put up so we had to come up with a solution - and it worked|

My work on the left, photographs, paintings and shoe sculptures. On the
right the work of Beverley, art prints, and ceramics.

Only noticed now my friend's sweater is the same as the room's motif!

Me, Stephanie from LA and Beverley from the UK.

A great way to have fun on a Sunday afternoon.

WHO AM I??
The best way to know who I am is to see what I create. Take a look at this blog or my other one regarding my art.

Double images....
LOVE the double or triple image maker on my Nikon D80. Just set it, and then take two or three pics.

What's the weather like now in Perugia?

Cold one day, sunny the next. Cold in the house. But we still need our coats or lightweight ones or padded jackets outside. Chilly, and not sunny. I like it like this, no problem for me.
