Questions to ask:
1. Is it correct to be this explicit?
2. Is it in good taste?
3. Is it clearer to have a sign like this than write something in German that not all can read?
4. Is this a common sign in Germany?
5. Do other countries have signs like this?
Actually, it IS very very clear isn't it. I mean, if you speak Hungarian, or only Italian, and you have a dog in Germany, you will not take your dog into this park to do his "thing". BUT, will you take him onto the sidewalk? Maybe just a meter or so away....and if so, will there be another one of these signs? THAT is the question....where do you take your dog once you see this^

How much should you weigh? (in Berlin, Germany)
WHAT A RELIEF!!!!!
My weight is ok for this chart!!! I am WAY under what they say. Let's see now, the first group are the men.....the second group are the women. I am quite tall, so I am down at the bottom.....now let's see, where is my height......HEY!!!!! MY height is not even ON THIS CHART!!!?&%$"£)(&&%!!!!!
So.....................I guess that means, that my weight MUST be fine, it's not even listed. And my height, I guess that's ok too!!

MIXED PHOTOS
Taking pictures of everything, anything everywhere.....This is just a random assortment of things I have photographed over the last couple of years. A woman puts on her earrings, takes her purse and keys, checks her lipstick and also...takes her camera! Whatever you see out there, SNAP, you got it!
Sometimes when you take your camera it is because you are going somewhere to photograph. Other times, you don't have it and you miss that great subject you weren't expecting to see.
Here, in these shots, sometimes I was expecting to see an event, and other times, I just happened to have my camera when the subject matter appeared.

CHINESE FOOD PREPARED BY CHINESE FOR AMERICAN (ME) AND ITALIAN (MY HUSBAND) IN BERLIN GERMANY
SOUNDS STRANGE, but this is exactly what happened. We were in Berlin, my first time in Germany...last June, and there we visited our Chinese friend. His Chinese friend whom we had met before, invited us to a fabulous meal in his home.
Here is his modest kitchen in a small apartment in Berlin, and these are the many dishes he prepared for us.
Here is the kitchen.
And these are part of the dishes he prepared.
The dishes are often based on vegetables, and meat or fish.
Soy sauce is used to pour over the dishes if you prefer.
AND FOR DESSERT...these very odd round gummy gooey little balls. I believe they are made out of flour, in fact, supposedly some have died while eating them for how gooey they are....easy to get stuck in ones throat!
The first bite, didn't really convince me.....but then eating one after another, they sort of taste better as one goes along!!
Chinese sweets are not anything like the sweets we eat in the USA or in Italy. They are not really very sweet at all. But they were pretty good, and after a big meal of vegetables and meat and fish, it seemed the right way to finish...with just a little something sweet.

BODE MUSEUM BERLIN
I know the tennis shoes just don't work with this fabulous setting (and coffee shop!) but when you walk all over Berlin from morning to night, you have to be comfy.
This is the incredible Bode Museum, very elegant and filled with magical objects, very well done.

WHO AM I??
Double images....
LOVE the double or triple image maker on my Nikon D80. Just set it, and then take two or three pics.
What's the weather like now in Perugia?
Cold one day, sunny the next. Cold in the house. But we still need our coats or lightweight ones or padded jackets outside. Chilly, and not sunny. I like it like this, no problem for me.
